For this purpose, the inner surfaces of the liners are subjected to a honing operation, honing channels are opened to form an oil film, sealing is achieved by reducing friction. Perlitic cast iron with lamellar graphite is generally preferred as a liner material, considering properties such as wear resistance, thermal conductivity, compatibility with engine blocks, and machinability.
The liners, whose casting stage has been completed, are processed using the latest technology in computer-controlled machines, and processes such as processing, honing and coating are completed while passing through an average of 10 different operations.
